One of my favourite topic! I don't put a lot of makeup on a daily basis but it's still something that I enjoy and I love looking for some new brands that are killing the game in terms of organic and natural make-up. 10 years ago the formulation in the natural industry was not great and it was hard to compete with well known brands. However, the industry has evolved and now the texture, the composition and the duration of products are really similar and tick all the boxes.
In this article, we will explore the top five best organic and natural makeup brands in Australia and New Zealand. I haven't tried some of those brands or all their products range but the composition, their values are aligned. They are a great place to start to replace some of your old nasty make up products with.
INIKA Organic
INIKA Organic is one of the most popular organic makeup brands in Australia. The products are made from natural and organic ingredients that are gentle on the skin. They are also vegan and cruelty-free.
Here some of the products that I have been wanted to try for a long time:
Ere Perez
Ere Perez is a natural makeup brand that was founded in Sydney, Australia. The brand's philosophy is to create makeup products that are kind to the skin and the environment. Ere Perez's makeup products are made from natural and organic ingredients, and they are free from synthetic chemicals and fragrances.
Here's what I have my eye on for a bit of time now. Obsessed with the colour of the beetroot chick & lip tint!
Karen Murrell
Karen Murrell is a natural lipstick brand that was founded in New Zealand. They are specialised in all natural ingredients lipsticks, without any nasties and cruelty-free. They have some great colours and your lips will not be dry after wearing them. I love the palette of colours and the matte effect.
Here's my favourites:

Made in New Zealand from local, natural and organic ingredients. Think Manuka Honey, Manuka Oil, Karaheke & much more awesome native forest ingredients. They have both a skin care and a make up range.
Here's what's on my list:
Organic and natural makeup brands are becoming increasingly popular those past year. However, you still have to double check the ingredients list to make sure that there is no hidden nasties. I will update this list or create a part 2 to show you other great natural brands that are doing their part for your health and the planet. If you are looking to swith to natural makeup give those brands a go.
